This milestone date opens new prospects for the development of both companies on the Russian IT-market.
Alexander Bryuzgin, Panduit Russian Channel Representative, stressed that the agreement with Marvel is a decisive step in Panduit promotion in Russia. "Partnership with Marvel, as one of the leading Russian distributors, offers us great opportunities but at the same time Panduit assumes a lot of liabilities and commitments which we are sure to meet".
Extensive studies and negotiations conducted in the 2nd Quater 2004 have well demonstrated that the market of the structured cabling systems in Russia has a great potential, estimated at 40 million US dollars. Panduit is planning to expand its trade on the Russian market and is said to have the economic and technical potential to do that. In the near future, Panduit is going to be one of the three leading suppliers of the passive networking equipment to the Russian market.
Konstantin Shliakhov, Marvel General Distribution Manager, says "Marvel is counting on the sales development of the passive networking equipment in general and SCS in particular. The contract with Panduit is a great stride toward the success. In the near future, we are planning to create a special department within the Marvel Company that will specialize only in passive networking equipment. We are going to sign new agreements with other vendors and to expand our dealers base".
