Marvel-MBA is the project of business education on the regular basis initiated by Marvel and St. Peterburg State University. The project was launched in October 2003 and it aims to inform Marvel's partners about new management methods and business development strategies. The first three sessions in the framework of Marvel-MBA were organized in St. Petersburg in 2003-2004.
The First Travelling Marvel-MBA Session in Novosibirsk was devoted to the major principles of assessed business value, fiscal accounting and management accounts. The lectures were delivered by Dmitry L. Volkov, Assistant Professor, Head of the Department of Theory of Financies , MBA Programme Assistant Director of the St. Petersburg State University.
According to Anton Cherepakhin, St. Petersburg Sales Director of the Marvel Company, the participants of the seminar in Novosibirsk showed a great interest in the discussion topics. The Marvel-MBA seminars offer our partners an opportunity to learn more about the vitally important and interesting subjects and give a chance to take part in the discussion, to specify the details and to exchange the work experience with the colleagues.
The Marvel Company is planning to continue to carry out travelling seminars in the near future. The next seminar is scheduled for the end of October, 2004 in Yekaterinburg.
