Mergers and acquisitions of 2008 also helped to achieve the impressive results, among them is the‘’ consolidated merger with a distribution department of ERIMEX Group of Companies which concentrated focused on supplies of monitors and acoustic systems and an acquisition of a distribution division of ‘Audiomania’ – a Moscow based company dealing with Hi-Fi and High-End audio and video equipment.
Over the past 3 years components and peripherals showed a decline in sales, whereas share of PCs, notebooks, servers and storage remained the same and networking equipment’s share was rapidly increasing.
Nonetheless, the biggest sales volume among the product business units in 2008 belongs to‘ components, peripherals and digital equipment accounting for 39.1 percent in total sales volume. Sales of notebooks, PCs and servers ’amounted to 27.7 percent, ‘networking and telecom – 33 percent and Hi-Fi audio-video – 0.2 percent. ’
