The Marvel Distribution company has entered into distribution agreement with the Acer company. As a result, Marvel has increased its product range by Acer Tempo communicators.
The Acer Tempo product line includes four Windows Mobile 6.1-based models: DX900, DX650, X960 and F900, each of them having a sensor display, GPS and Wi-Fi modules.
Sergey Patskevich, Marvel’s Marketing Vice-President and Director of Components, Peripherals and Digital Equipment Department, has said: “The product group of mobile communication devices is one of the most rapid-growing and huge in terms of Marvel’s turnover”. By the end of 2008 the sales of these devices increased by 39% and amounted to 11,5 % of the sales volume (coming second among the all product groups). Our company has a long experience in supplying mobile communication devices – we have been working in the mobile phones distribution sector since 1996, and we have been selling communicators and smartphones since 2005. Our staff includes highly qualified experts specializing in the promotion of this equipment”.
Alexandr Slepukhin, Head of Marvel’s Mobile Communication Devices Product Union, has assured: “This collaboration with Acer is very promising. Acer has recently offered a number of new devices having some functions that no other devices yet have. Our product range has expanded, so we can satisfy more demands of our dealers and also increase our sales. Acer is planning to occupy a substantial part of the communicators market and we are going to use best endeavors to develop our cooperation in Russia”.
Marvel is planning to launch a number of marketing programs and joint campaigns with dealers for the promotion of this equipment in Russia.
